AI4IT Social Media & AI Education Project

  • Collaborated with a 3-member team to manage and enhance the AI4IT Instagram account, focused on educating students and the public about artificial intelligence capabilities, limitations, and ethical use 

  • Created and published short-form videos, informational slides, and tool highlights explaining real world AI applications 

  • Updated and maintained the project Link tree, integrating FSU resources, AI tools, and educational links with clear descriptions

One of the biggest challenges our team faced during the AI4IT project was increasing engagement and getting people to consistently watch and interact with our content. To address this, we redesigned our videos to be more visually appealing by adding effects, improving the overall presentation, and keeping content concise and engaging. We also incorporated credible references and educational resources to improve the quality and reliability of the information being shared. These changes helped create more professional and effective content for our audience.

Virtualization and Containerized Media Server Project (Jellyfin)

  • Deployed a virtualized server environment using Oracle VirtualBox and configured Docker to run containerized applications 

  • Installed and managed a Jellyfin media server within a Docker container, requiring active terminal and service monitoring

  • Configured shared file systems to transfer and mount local media files from host to virtual machine for server access

While setting up the Jellyfin media server, I faced several technical challenges, including configuring Docker correctly, remembering and organizing the required commands and credentials, and ensuring media files were saved and played back properly with audio. To overcome these issues, I documented commands and configurations, tested different solutions, and consistently monitored the system until everything functioned correctly. Through troubleshooting and persistence, I successfully deployed a working containerized media server within a virtualized environment.
